Bleah
I appear to be sick.
I wasn't sick at lunchtime, but by the time dinnertime came, I very clearly was. So whatever it was, happened fast.
I haven't been out of the house since Friday, except for a five-minute run this afternoon to the liquor store, where I was in the store literally about thirty seconds and I wore a mask. If I got something there, it is the fastest-moving virus on earth.
I ate nothing today that would seem to point to food poisoning.
A rapid coronavirus test was negative -- though admittedly the test was expired, but its reagents were still working well enough for the control line to appear. Forty-eight hours is an uncommonly long incubation for covid. Also, I have the latest vaccines I can get.
I also have had a flu shot this year.
In short, I don't know. But there are peculiar symptoms I have, that no one else seems to ever really have, that always indisputably mean "I am sick," and I have learned not to ignore them.
We'll see how I feel in the morning.
