Life As We Know It

Fast slow time
Sometimes I don't know where the days go. I could have sworn I posted that long Dredge, like, yesterday. Or maybe the day before yesterday, at the absolute most.
OK, so, that was Thursday. So let's see, what happened on Friday and Saturday?
Well, on Friday I made one of my twice-weekly expeditions out of the house, so that was several hours gone right there, and when I got home I started to watch Scotland's final match in group play, up to the point where it was 3-0 Brazil (fuck you, Brazil, you need to go lose for a while, we're all tired of seeing you, give someone else a chance) and that happened to be right around dinnertime, so we gave it up as a lost cause and switched to Jeopardy!, which is what we usually watch during dinner.
On Saturday I suddenly got an idea for a very short piece of MC/TG fluff that I could make in the few remaining days of June, so I went to work on that. And I guess that was it for Saturday? I'm still working on it today and I don't feel like I spent that much time on it on Saturday, given that I only finished the first page, but maybe I did. I dunno.
And today being Sunday, in addition to working on the story, I did laundry and watched an episode of "The Expanse." We have begun season five. I have not, so far, been as impressed with the post-Amazon episodes (that is, season four and beyond) as with the first three seasons, but it's still pretty damned good.
You would think time would pass more slowly if there were no great adventure or excitement occupying it, but that does not seem to be the case.
