We broke a temperature record today. Whee. This is not the kind of record you enjoy breaking.

Tomorrow is Friday and on Friday I walk, and I have to say, while I need the walk and I don't feel I can skip it, I don't think this is going to be enjoyable.

My sinuses have been trying to destroy my head for two days and I can't figure out why. It's not a sinus infection because my snot isn't coming out in strange colors. I think it's because I'm spending the nights with the bedroom set to Meat Locker and breathing dry cold air all night from the A/C. On the other hand, I'd already been doing that for several weeks so I'm not sure why it's only hitting me now.

The cats have been as flat as possible all day today.

Yesterday was a Release Day and I didn't post so I guess we'll tag that today. Sleeper Squad 59 is an absolute epic -- the new record-setter for longest of the comic-style stories, at 37 pages. This is also not a kind of record I enjoy breaking.

I have some plot unplotted for the next story, which is the eighth and second-to-last Coldpoint. I should have worked on that today because, by my calculations, I am now at least a day overdue to start renders on it. But people kept giving me actual work to do today and between that, the heat, and my sinuses, I haven't had the mental space to do plotting.

And I just realized that -- having not done them yesterday -- I really should have paid the bills today. I guess i should go do that, then.
